FFIV - $113.94 strangle plays:

I have conflicting info on FFIV, earnings whispers says wednesday 7/20 amc, yahoo finance says the same, briefing.com doesn't have it listed on the earnings calender but it's in another area, msn has it as 7/20 as well, it's not on that master list that was posted on this board tho ??? as I would have liked to see the historical % moves

Anyway I suppose I could always bail early, lol

Personally I'd like to see this come in closer for an ATM straddle at perhaps 110 or 115 and still be close to the same price range vs the strangle but here's what I'm eyeing:

The positions below can ramp up as well with wednesday earnings amc, I like the position it is in on the chart in any event.
Maybe this position can be had for less as well with entries on each side separate intraday

Weekly JUL 22 110/115 strangle:

110p/115c
3.51/4.70 = 8.21
Break-even requirements needed by Friday 7/22:
down/up
101.79/123.21
-12.15/+9.27
-10.6%/+8.1%

Pretty hefty move needed by end of week, if FFIV doesn't move enough this play could lose at least half of it's value overnight and if flat both sides could very well expire worthless.
It's moved over 10% it's last few releases so it's in play

AUG 19 105/120 strangle:

105p/120c
3.67/4.75 = 8.42
Break-even requirements needed by Friday 8/19: (roughly 5 weeks from now)

I like the premiums better on the weeklies personally
Looks like around 12.30 would be the total premium paid for and August strangle closer to ATM with a 110/115 position fwiw
