Latest "Balance Sheet" + important DD + should be a sticky

The latest balance sheet (May 1-31, 2011) submitted to the court shows clearly ...

...total assets of about 752 mio. $ and total liabilities of about 506 mio. $ before the DISH deal.

So the main question is: Whats the shareholder equity before and after the deal based on the balance sheet? How much are we in the money?

I did my maths for 3 different cases:

1. Case without the DISH deal

Total assets: about 752 mio. $
- Total liabilities: about 506 mio. $

= Shareholder equity (we are in the money) 246 mio. $
= (246 mio. $ / 139 mio shares) $1.77 per share

2. Case with the Dish Deal included (minimum case)

Total assets (if all assets bought - minimum case): 1.38 billion $
- Total liabilities: About 506 mio. $

= Shareholder equity (we are in the money) 874 mio. $
= (874 mio. $ / 139 mio shares) $6.29 per share

As far you know, only Terrestar Networks will be bought. You can see: Terrestar Networks which will be bought for 1.38 billion $ is valued in the balance sheet @ only 67 mio. $.

So my next case is the maximum case we have in shareholder equity.

3. Case with the Dish Deal included (maximum case)

Total assets (if only Terrestar Networks bought - maximum case): (1.38 billion $ + (752 mio. $ - 67 mio. $)) 2.065 billion $
- Total liabilities: about 506 mio. $

= Shareholder equity (we are in the money) 1.559 billion $
= (1.559 billion $ / 139 mio shares) $11.22 per share

So I see a possibility of around 1.559 billion $ shareholder equity. Its no brainer here - we should be in the money or dollars in a big way.

Hope its a little bit clarification for newcomers, bashers and scared people! smile - Do YOUR DD
