Dear Sirs/Ma’am’s, I worked for Calypso and had the pleasure to work with Cristian Turrini and participate in some aspects of his life. I have read some inaccurate postings and had the need to set some things straight.

Let me take the opportunity to outline below some of Mr. Turrini’s accomplishments:

1. Going as far back as 2006, Cristian was always a remarkable motivator of his peers and co-workers and was truly the driving-force of Calypso Wireless. Mr. Turrini maintained the motivation of all Calypso employees when the company was placed in limbo by the board and during the extended period the former CEO remained in Nicaragua and out of touch. Mr. Turrini still maintains the respect of Calypso’s former employees and continues to receive help from many of us. Mr. Turrini successfully recruited an amazing CFO in 2007, one of the founders of Qtera; which was later sold to Nortel http://www.nortel.com/corporate/news/newsreleases/1999d/12_15_9999789_qtera.html. We all stand firmly behind him.

2. Mr. Turrini obtained many beneficial settlements on behalf of Calypso. All the people that attended the Shareholders meeting in 2007 will remember Miles Cohen presentation listing Turrini’s accomplishments. During this presentation Mr. Cohen reminded us of Mr. Carlos Mendoza, Davila, and Ms. Cheryl Dotson’s misguided recommendations not to let Mr. Turrini handle the Daic litigation.

3. Mr. Turrini successfully initiated and negotiated many lucrative non-exclusive licensing agreements that were not approved by Calypso’s Board. These include:
a. Shortly before the December 2008 judgment, Mr. Turrini brought forth a deal from AMD. This came on the heels of another deal proposal he secured from the former managing director of Deutsche Telekom. Both deals fell through because Mr. Mendoza failed to respond and the board failed to act after the judgment was rendered. I suspect Mr. Mendoza didn’t want Mr. Drago Diac to reap any benefits from these licensing agreements.
b. In 2007, Mr. Turrini secured a licensing deal offer from Acacia. This deal would have generated hundreds of millions of dollars to Calypso. Mr. Turini negotiated for Acacia to pay $5 million in advance.
c. Also in 2007 Mr. Turrini successfully negotiated a trial with a top international company. http://calypsowireless.us/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=39&Itemid=1
d. In 2008 Mr. Turrini successfully negotiated another non-exclusive licensing deal with Rivada. I could have mentioned many other prospects we worked on such as Embarq, Cingular, Nokia Siemens Networks, Helio, etc.

4. Mr. Turrini acquired many new technologies and led us in the development of new ones for the company. Under his direction, Calypso managed to develop the first working prototype of the ASNAP.

5. Finally, Mr. Turrini secured millions in investment money for Calypso. This came in the form of both private and public capital.

6. In matters of jurisprudence, Mr. Turrini enacted the following to protect Calypso Wireless shareholders:
a. Obtained numerous extensions from the SEC after they began a formal inquiry and later a formal investigation of the company in 2006/2007. He also managed to successfully defend the company in the formal investigation without penalty to the company and without incurring the expense of outside counsel.
b. Successfully prevented Mr. Drago Daic’s “turnover order” from being executed in February 2007. The turnover order would have given Daic all patents and assets.
Formally initiated the bill of review against Drago Daic.
c. Sued Mr. Carlos Mendoza on the behalf of Calypso’s shareholders.
d. Prevented Mr. Drago Daic numerous times from foreclosing and removing the patents from the company.

I hope this partial list of Mr. Turrini’s accomplishments gives you an idea of the enormous impact he has had on Calypso Wireless over the last 5 years. For those of you unfamiliar with the negotiation of licensing deals, once you get a firm offer the deal is, for the most part, closed pending approval by your side. Most of you know many of these deals did not materialize because either Mr. Mendoza or Mr. Drago Diac prevented them by withholding board approval.

Finally, I attest to Cristian’s integrity in all affairs. I have worked with him and I know his beautiful family. He’s both a dedicated friend and father. He is a great negotiator because he is likable, because he listens to others, and he is always searching for a positive outcome for all parties. I am one of many ex-Calypso employees who continue to help the company without pay because of my loyalty to Cristian Turrini.
