If you are looking to daytrade but still subject to the PDT rule (less than $25,000), here is an update that might be for you :

Min balance requirement

Previously the min deposit requirement was $5,000 with extensive trade logs for US traders, the new min deposit is now $2,500 and no logs are required.

Risk management is still set and accounts are only for daytrading (no swinging positions).

Traders keep 100% of their profits and can withdraw at any time (the entire deposit if they please at any time).

Leverage

Default, the Buying Power is set up to 20:1

Leverage can be set on the fly, depends on many variables, the more trader shows good risk management and profitability, the higher the parameters go (if trader requests of course).

With a $2,500 deposit, trader gets access up to $50,000 of daytrading power, $5,000 gets up to $100,000 etc...

Example

Bot 500 shares SSO @ $52.50 = $26,250 tied up

Sld 500 shares SSO @ $52.85 = $175 profit.

This trade would be impossible with $2,500 and the same trade can be done without needing $25,000 to daytrade.

This is how leverage is used to daytrade, small and steady scalps, it is not to buy a ton of stock and hold overnight, each new trader will have a risk pre-set @ $500. Once that loss is hit, trader can no longer place any additional trades for the rest of the day (to prevent overtrading, revenge trading, extensive losses, etc...)
