The only asset Aerius International, Inc. (AERS) and its shareholders received in the transaction was 10 million shares of privately-held Aerius International, Ltd. There was no mention of any licensing rights or strategies for AERS going forward.
The press releases subsequent to announcement of the sale of the intellecutal property make no sense. Although some announce manufacturing contracts or agreements with other companies to sell Aerius-equipped cell phones, the company no longer owns the technology. That's most likely why none of these PRs has ever come to fruition.
