MMX/Howie D Presence Look Like?...what does exposure/MMX presence look like?...we definitely will see MusicMatrix presence this coming week/weekends...won't have to look for it..it may find you....MMX attending pre and post Grammy events...that's where the action is, the networking happens...Grammy's...not where business get's done..networking being done before/after Grammys at the events...major connections...media/others attending the video shoot...we'll see who's attending...we'll see MMX all over it....we'll hear MMX...there'll be major media outlets/programs (ET/Extra, e.g.) /industry channels invited/may attend...we never know what they'll pick up/air...but major potential to explode from media standpoint...but no matter what, we'll see/hear MMX...by the way..the director of the video...when we hear/look them up...we'll be shocked....keeping quiet...they don't want a circus...but there will be major people at the shooting...long video shoot...14 hour day or so....originally was going to shoot somewhere else, had to adjust and go to LA, be with label, japanese press... originally, before knowing what he knows now, preferred original location from convenience standpoint..BUT NOW with the LA exposure and surrounding Grammys....entirely new/better/HUGE opportunity...Howie leaving for Brazil the next day after video shoot....
BSB mgmt / relationship: super strong…win win, helping each other….even with the adjustment to Howie D’s shoot, thus requiring moving it out and contest out…has strengthened the relationship..looking to help each other out, so to speak…can’t really get into details about what that means, but tony did stress his working like mad to get something before Howie D’s contest on MMX….may involved BSB mgmt/people…...nothing definite…
ARTISTS AND LABELS, and VIDEO SHOOTS:
Filling a Void..MMX: Fortunate Adjustment Towards Artists v Labels (labels generally don’t pay for vids): worked out walking away from a lot of the label b.s......adjustment away from label was one of tony's major adjustments to the business plan...tony said label wasn't "getting/understanding" the opp being presented to them, that's why concentrated more on artists themselves...many labels are going to be knocking on MMX doors soon..because they won't have a choice...currently...many labels don't pay one dime for their artists videos...so...what happens? you got a label, you got an artists, who needs a video...label doesn't pay...you got Howie D who signs big label, then they won't do a video for him? here comes MMX...partner up....really in perfect place with this stie/MMX at this time..why we're seeing Howie D going to spread like wildfire with him...elsewhere...Feeling is ..this goes well on Tuesday...there’ll be a lot more mgmt will want to talk to MMX about....
