Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (FCX), $118.35 per share US

through its wholly owned subsidiary, Phelps Dodge Corporation (Phelps Dodge) is a copper, gold and molybdenum mining company. Its portfolio of assets includes the Grasberg minerals district in Indonesia, which contains the single recoverable copper reserve and the single gold reserve; mining operations in North and South America, and the Tenke Fungurume minerals district in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). FCX also operates Atlantic Copper, its wholly owned copper smelting and refining unit in Spain. As of December 31, 2009, consolidated recoverable proven and probable reserves totaled 104.2 billion pounds of copper, 37.2 million ounces of gold, 2.59 billion pounds of molybdenum, 270.4 million ounces of silver and 0.78 billion pounds of cobalt. Approximately 33 % of its copper reserves were in Indonesia, approximately 33 % were in South America, approximately 26 % were in North America and approximately eight % were in Africa.

RAML is a mineral exploration and development company, which acquired the La Arena gold oxide/copper-gold sulphide project in Peru (La Arena). On June 15, 2009, it entered into the La Arena Agreement. La Arena consists of 44 mining approximately 20,673 hectares of gold, oxide resource of 58 million tonnes grading 0.49 grams of gold per ton containing approximately 910,000 troy ounces of gold and an indicated copper/gold sulphide resource of 220 million tons.

Newmont Mining Corporation (NEM) $55.72 per share US

is a gold producing company with assets or operations in the United States, Australia, Peru, Indonesia, Ghana, Canada, New Zealand and Mexico. It is also engaged in the production of copper, principally through its Batu Hijau operation in Indonesia and Boddington operation in Australia. At December 31, 2009, Newmont had proven and probable gold reserves of 91.8 million equity ounces and an aggregate land position of approximately 33,400 square miles (86,500 square kilometers). In June 2009, the Company completed the acquisition of the remaining 33.33% interest in Boddington from AngloGold Ashanti Australia Limited (AngloGold).

AngloGold Ashanti Limited (AngloGold Ashanti) is a global producer of gold. AngloGold Ashanti has 21 operations and a number of exploration programs in gold-producing regions of the world. As of December 31, 2009, AngloGold Ashanti's ore reserve totaled 71.4 million ounces. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the Company produced 4.6 million ounces of gold from its operations. AngloGold Ashanti's main product is gold. Revenue is also derived from the sales of silver, uranium oxide and sulphuric acid. The Company sells its products on international markets. On January 28, 2009, the Company sold 33% interest in Boddington joint venture to Newmont. On February 17, 2009, it sold Tau Lekoa to Simmer & Jack. On October 5, 2009, the Company formed a joint venture with formed with De Beers in marine exploration and mining. On December 22, 2009, it acquired additional 10% interest in Kibali gold project.


Barrick Gold(ABX_) $47.08 per share US

Barrick Gold Corporation (Barrick) is engaged the production and sale of gold, as well as related activities, such as exploration and mine development. Barrick also produces copper, and hold interests in oil and gas properties located in Canada. Its producing mines are concentrated in four regional business units: North America, South America, Africa and Australia Pacific. In addition, it has a Capital Projects segment, distinct from its regional business units, to focus on managing projects. On September 17, 2009, the Company completed the acquisition of 50% interest in the Valhalla oil and gas field. On April 22, 2009, it completed the acquisition of the remaining 50% interest in the Williams and David Bell gold mines (Hemlo) in Canada from Teck Resources Ltd., thereby increasing its interest to 100%..

Goldcorp Inc. (G:TOR) 46.20 can $ per share

is a gold producer engaged in the operating, exploration, development and acquisition of precious metal properties in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Central and South America. The Company's producing mining properties are comprised of the Red Lake, Porcupine and Musselwhite gold mines in Canada; the San Dimas gold/silver and Los Filos and El Sauzal gold mines in Mexico; the Marlin gold/silver mine in Guatemala; the Alumbrera gold/copper mine in Argentina; and the Marigold and Wharf gold mines in the United States. Its development projects include the Penasquito gold/silver/zinc/lead and Noche Buena gold/silver projects in Mexico; the Cochenour, Eleonore and Hollinger gold projects in Canada; the Cerro Blanco gold/silver project in Guatemala; and the Pueblo Viejo gold project in the Dominican Republic. On February 24, 2010, Goldcorp sold 21.2% interest in the Morelos gold project in Mexico. On February 16, 2010, Goldcorp acquired the New Gold subsidiary.
