Among the companies whose shares are making notable moves in Thursday's session are Coro Mining Corp. (COP.T), Moly Mines Ltd. (MOL.T), Neo Material Technologies Inc. (NEM.T) and Frontier Rare Earths Ltd. (FRO.T).
Coro Mining (C$1.22, C$0.04, 3.4%) said a project-review commission in Argentina has come out in favor of development of the San Jorge project.
Moly Mines (C$1.30, C$0.18, 16%) announced the maiden shipment of iron ore from its Spinifex Ridge project in Australia. The ore is bound for China.
Rare earth stocks Neo Material (C$8.07, C$0.39, 5.1%) and Frontier Rare Earths (C$3.46, C$0.20, 6.1%) are getting a boost from China's decision to reduce rare earth export quotas, which should keep prices strong. China is the dominant global producer of rare earths.
