In response to a PM I got from VD IRT my intentions (because I can't PM),
1. I'm stuck in EIGH and CDIV, I think most folks know this. GRNO and PNTV are down but I think that they have a better chance at digging out due to their business plans.
2. The amount of money invested in these is small and nothing I can't afford to lose. The vast majority of my holdings are in safe stocks and mutual funds. Since I'm in the military, my TSP account is growing rapidly as well.
3. IRT "The Team" and Jerry Williams; well, I have met a ton of really good people and have made some awesome friendships that will last a lifetime. I have learned to technically trade stocks and this has already paid dividends for me. I don't believe for a second that Jerry Williams is a scam artists nor do I believe that the FLD's were frontloaded to rip people off. I have no proof of this except my own opinion but until someone shows me verifiable proof that the "inner circle" sold on the way up to a bunch of bagholders, everyone is entitlled to their opinion myself included. If proof is provided, I will be the first to admt my mistake.
4. I understand that there are a lot of competing interests on iHub, some good and some bad. There are a lot of frontload scam artists, shorters, pumpers, and bashers who all have their own interests at heart. Whatever those may be, as long as they are not illegal, I don't care. I'm here to try and make money as much as the next guy is. I've lost, I've won and overall, I think I have done fairly well but I could do better.
5. For those who are trying to bring scams to light, I salute you and applaud your efforts (hence my compliment on the DD doen on SAEI). My only concern is that many times some of these "scams" are brought to light through opinion and inuendo with very little verifiable evidence to back up the assertions. In those cases, I questions motives. When I see a good piece of factual DD, I applaud it because it means that someone has gone above and beyond opinion and put a lot of time and energy into research and DD. Those people need to given the respect they deserve.
6. Finally, I will stress that my opinion, along with everyone elses is simply that, an opinion. I am open minded and will change my mind and opinion if the right evidence is presented to me. I encourage all others to do the same but please, only do so if concrete evidence is presented. Don't throw away your convictions and your beliefs because your opinion swims agaist the current or because you can't stomach the fact that you made a bad choice and lost money. Hold strong but if the overwhleming factual evidence leads you to a different conclusion then you previously had, be man/woman enough to admit it (something I have said I will do) and move on knowing that life taught you a lesson.
I hope this as laid out my position for posting here. I simply wanted to congratualte "nodummy" on his/her DD.
