Just had this pm'ed to me and was told I could share it......

I'm not going to get involved in the discussion on the board, but is this the email header that has everyone debating?

Assuming that the data has not been edited or spoofed, the email came from a device on a private network IP (192.168.100.252) and that network's internet gateway was 110.138.183.97 which is an IP address in Indonesia. The location of Google's SMTP servers is irrelevant. He used his gmail account to send it and has an alternative return address, very common for people who travel.

I'm not attesting to its legitimacy, just observing that these people don't have a clue about how to read an email header. wink
