Canadian Tire, Winning Colours and Toronto Canada

With over 2.5 million residents, it is the fifth most populous municipality in North America. Toronto is at the heart of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and is part of a densely populated region in Southern Ontario known as the Golden Horseshoe, which is home to over 8.1 million residents—approximately 25% of Canada's population. So how many Canadian Tire stores in just Toronto?

How many stores is Winning Colours in Toronto as of 12/2/10 per store locator

If one has followed past posts on Canadian Tire and the blog one sees a story and events unfolding with this retailer.

Yesterday's combined DD post

Excerpt from today's blog

Fred Lee returned to headquarters today, following a day in the field with Lorne Kelly visiting Canadian Tire stores on the display rack presentation/installation mission. Shown here below, they are conferring as to their findings on the early installed test locations. They are interested to presenting accurate findings to prospective installation sites. They have received strong interest amongst the next group of prospective sites. They also found today that the CTC test location which received its unit on August 19th is now at 223 bottles, of which 24 were the year-to-date figure Jan1 – Aug 18. This confirms that the positive impact for participating retailer test sites is being sustained during the test period, in other words – 199 bottles since installation.

This is approximately near two bottles a day average at this store with a rack.

Reminder imo this retailer in Canada is significant

As Canada's largest retailer, it is said that 85 percent of all Canadians live within a 15-minute drive of a Canadian Tire store; that nine out of ten adult Canadians shop at one at least twice a year; and that 40 percent of Canadians shop at Canadian Tire every week.

Do your own due diligence; factors and conditions change.
