$120,000 per year
$10,000 per month
$2,500 per week
$357 per day
Given he works the minimum of his 80 hours per week (including weekends)
He works- 11.42 Hours per day, making...
$31.26 per hour
In this old Memo, Eric states Winning Brands is selling a product somewhere every two minutes during an extended business day...A normal business day would be 8 hours...so let's say an extended business day would be 12 hours...This would equate to...12 hours x 5 business days per week = 60 hours per week....let's compare his pay to the revenue/profits coming in...(all based on the cheapest product...a 4oz WC bottle)
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=36180677
There are:
30 two minute intervals in 1 hour (30 4oz bottles sold per hour) $120
12 hours in 1 extended business day (360 4oz bottles sold per extended business day) $1440
5 extended business days in 1 week (1800 4oz bottles sold per business week) $7200
52 weeks in 1 year (93,600 4oz bottles sold per year)
Assuming all bottles were sold at MSRP, approx. $4...this would Total $374,000 revenue per year...Now cut that in half due to 50% profit margin...that would total $187,200
Eric's salary is 120K while we are only profiting 187K...
So His Pay is eating up 64% of what's coming in...
Further...
For every business hour that passes...Winning Brands makes $120, but pays Eric $31.26, roughly 25% of what's coming in...
Now here's where it get's interesting...Business hours end eventually....and weekends take over...(and we all know Eric works weekends...)
So although we know we sell product over weekends...Eric used a different metric when coming up with his "every 2 minute" projections, so I will exclude product being sold over weekends, just like he did...
This would mean, Eric is still getting paid @ $31.26 per hour for 11.42 hours, totaling roughly $357 per weekend day and $714 per weekend...
There are 52 Weekends in a year which would equate to $37,126 being taken from Winning brands total profits where there is no revenue being generated for those days...
Overall- $187K profits - $120K salary - $37,126 due to no revenue being generated = $29874 total in cash at years end based on this info....
So in essence, I agree, lower the salary, or find a way to increase sales dramatically...ALL IMO!
