In this latest interview Steve was hopeful to have a UL fire rating on EcoBlu OSB by EOY
That would be huge IMO
I believe that ECOB coated lumber would exceed the typical EXPOSURE 1 rating you see on modern-day chip board by far

Their isn't an off the shelf fire rated OSB on the market that I can find.
Previous testing has proven the fire retardant effectiveness of the coating
I believe hartino makes fire blankets and can fire proof any cloth out of the blue juice….

A UL fire rating would guarantee share price traction - IMO

some quick OSB Facts:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oriented_strand_board

Domestic OSB manufacturers produced 26 million square feet of OSB in year (2006).
When OSB burns it produces methane. Ammonia, Formaldehyde, Methanol and from what quick intell I can find it appears easier to ignite that a typical piece of lumber and burns hotter and produces near twice as much noxious smoke.

LOOK AT THIS COVER PICTURE and then pick up on page four!

Imagine that same test utilizing ECOB coated lumber????
