+DI (Green Line) indicates the overall strength of the buying trend of a particular stock

-DI (Red Line) indicates the overall strength of the selling trend of a particular stock

ADX = Average overall strength of the trend of the stock


Ideally, if you want the stock to go up, you want the +DI to head up and the -DI to head down. Usually a +DI cross to the bullish side inticates a very strong move and gives support to the bullish move going on. Visa versa for the -DI cross to the bear side.
