I just got my new incredisocks in the mail!!
I decided to do a test. I was wearing sandles all day walking around in the river. Temps were low 50,s here today. The heat vents on my jeep only blow out the defrost vent on the dash. My feet were freiking cold!! I got home and was happy to see in the mailbox my incredisocks had come.
I put on one normal cotton sock, and one incredisock. It has been about a half hour and my incredisock foot is way warmer! The incredisock foot warm to the touch and the cotton foot is like ice. I now am wearing both incredisocks and feel quite good :)
The first thing I noticed when I put them on was how easily they slid onto even my damp feet. Then I noticed the elasticity of them. They really stretch and you can tell they will hold their shape nicely. Tomorrow I will be taking them on a 6-8 mile hike in the mountains for an elk hunt. It will be interesting to see if they will "cool" my feet as effectively as they warmed them. Tomorrow will also be a good test for the "stink factor" to see if they really suppress scent. My feet are normally quite rank after a trip of this caliber. The packaging also looks very nice.
I always feel better about buying a bunch of stock in a company I truly believe in. So far I feel very good about my purchase of (STAU) star nutrition shares, as well as my new socks.
