In case anyone missed it - NOAA winter predictions (compared to last year) - warmer in SE, colder in NE, the same in midwest and west.

REMINDER - NOAA "winter" predictions are for only the 3 months in the heart of winter. For commodity plays, I like to think traders use EIA figures (Energy Information Agency I believe) as they include the 2 month shoulders on each end - gives a little different picture.

For longer future trades, remember that these numbers, historically, SUCK! But it is what is factored into lots of trades early.....

Of course, these areas have very different major heating sources. NE - heating oil, SE - electric, midwest - nat. gas etc.
Make sure you factor the area to your trades.
