There are many. Just few in the sub/micro penny area. And of those few, event fewer recently, then 2 years ago. You use to see at least 4 to 6 hot "Temp Job" plays which lasted 3 months and walked down over the next 6 to 9 months, years before.

These were not pump & dump stocks. I feel the increse in P&Ds relates to the REG SHO regulations being inforced, for a change. You see more strike fast and disappear, before anyone notices.

We have to discuss the term to justify the price movement results. Intention (make money) from the start are pump & dumps. They run big and dive big, and go away.

If intention is to grow a business, they usually only last 3 months. Then fail (stock wise) because of the funding system used to stabilize the business.

Can't honestly remember a company which didn't have the dark side (VCs) involved, in the stock movement. But all are not P&Ds.

I would suggest some pinks are not scams and small companies continue to operate after the stock dies. The initial funding gave them the cash they needed to reposition their company. And keep it in business for another few years. Yes insider realize retail investors may become hurt. But they get in bed with the dark side, mainly to save their company and don't care what means of funding they have to use, to do so.

Penny traders don't benefit from long investments, but the companies sometimes do get benefits. It's the venture capital firms which really benefit financially.

I have to agree with your point. The pink market is the one market, which will fleece sheep every time. But all stocks are not pump & dump plays. And all insiders are not crooks. Some are just lacking in the ethics department some. Others are professional scam artist. Need to DD pink insiders history, more then the present company they are involved with, to find the difference early on.
