To follow up on my recent postings about Bob Dillon and Exobox, I now believe that I was fed a great deal of misinformation about Bob, founded not on facts, but on misinformation, speculation, conjecture and hearsay, often from people with their own agenda. Over the last several months, I have met with Bob on two occasions for many hours to explore the relevant facts and what we could do for the benefit of Exobox and its shareholders. During these meetings and numerous related conversations with him, he was very forthcoming about the details of his over 6 year involvement with Exobox and provided me with all requested information, including many facts I did not previously have. I now believe he operated in good faith as Exobox CEO and more recently as a consultant and would have succeeded in his efforts for Exobox if it were not for outside events he did not create but had to deal with for years.
This entire experience has reinforced for me the danger of relying on out of context bits and pieces of a complicated story, Monday morning quarterbacking and unsubstantiated accounts from questionable or poorly informed even if well intentioned sources. I also have verified with Dick Kampa that his tenure as Exobox CEO led him to conclude that Bob accomplished a great deal for the Company under very trying circumstances and that Exobox would have been out of business long ago if it were not for Bob. Dick even told me that Bob probably provided Exobox over $1 million in free legal services over the years in addition to his services as CEO.
The bottom line is that I want to take this opportunity to take back the previous hostile comments I posted about Bob Dillon and thank him for all his efforts on behalf of Exobox. I trust that this post will help to set the record straight so we may put the acrimony behind us and work to save the Company.
