Thanks Bio for posting this and drawing our attention to what could be a fantastic property for us. I believe that news has been up there for a while and I am not sure that there's anyone exploring there right now, although we do have some great photos to show what they found on their initial exploration - in fact they're such great photos that KAT uses them for the web site home page.

In April I asked Ken about Clifton and this is what he said...

Rick: On 12th March you claimed a massive new area south of Lucky which sounds very exciting. What are your general plans and timescales for exploring and proving up the mineral potential for this claim area and out of curiosity, do you have a name for it yet?

Ken: The name of this project will be called “Clifton Property”. A few major projects and events have our priority at this time and we have not laid out a specific program as of yet for the Clifton property but that will happen in short time as it has great accessibility and we have much to follow up on.

There is no reason at all to think that VALE would not be interested in Clifton, after all they are interested in every other property in the area that has been claimed on that underlying bedrock including Deer Harbour to the south of Clifton. On the other hand it may be that Ken does not wish to option Clifton right now. He may want to wait and explore it further ourselves. Either way it is an early stage property that once explored will probably have the less interesting areas dropped to focus on any parts that show promise. The photos certainly look great!
