Wingnuts Talk Of Rebellion Getting Very Very Loud

Aug 05, 2010 at 09:41:09 PM PDT

I have been watching the nutters fantasize about an explicitly racial war. This pops up once a month in a big Redstate circle jerk, but then they bicker amongst themselves. But lately Media Matters has been scrutinizing the wingnut site Confederate Yankee, and the wingnuts are talking VERY LOUDLY about the war they plan if they don't "take their country back" this November.

[ http://mediamatters.org/blog/201008030007 ] [ http://confederateyankee.mu.nu/archives/304143.php

Revolution is a brutish, nasty business. Innocents will fall along with patriots and the corrupt....I pray for peace but I prepare for war.

This is followed by much fantasizing about killing their neighbors, and their willingness to die (well kill anyway) so rich people get more tax cuts.

And if you mock them, they kill you!

Attempts at peaceable protests have been met at turns by feigned ignorance, then mockery, then attacks on the character and motives...

Tea Party will "target" the press. The violence will of course originate with the leftist thugs, but that is not the way it will be portrayed in the media, and the media themselves will risk becoming targets... This guy agrees. If your political party gets bad press, kill the press!

I abhor voilence, yet I increasingly feel it is inevitable. When it comes, the first targets should be the MSM.

And this guy is all fired up about Obamacare. That way, when he shoots someone he can be sure that even if they live, they'll go broke

I have been saying for a while now that if the Republicans win the house this November... repeal ObamaCare.....If the Republicans botch it, the only way will be armed rebellion.

This is followed by more from Media Matters, and more sinister talk of violence from the comments at Confederate Yankee.[ http://mediamatters.org/blog/201008030038 ] [ http://confederateyankee.mu.nu/archives/304223.php ]

You can also review the monthly Redstate Civil War circlejerk fantasies about killing their neighbors here, here, here, and here.

Generally, this stuff is as embarrassing as your freshman yearbook picture:

The skirmishes will start out small in fly-over country, and there will be serious bloodshed as the Government attempts to quell the uprisings. Remember that match being lit? The Governments’ use of deadly force on her citizens will ignite the rage that will sweep across the nation, like a wildfire on a hot, dry prairie in August.....At the very least, the major metropolitan areas will be isolated (they are already surrounded by Red) and there will be no escape. To get anything in or out of a Blue county, it has to go through Red at some point. Good luck with that. When the Blue areas are sufficiently starved, they will come looking for food, and they will either be set right to the facts, pardoned or pacified. If not, we will refresh the tree of liberty with their blood!

Maybe that's not as racist and genocidal as it sounds

Those nice safe, white suburbs are a sheep pen totally unprepared for the wolves’ assault.

OK it is...

But the wankers at Redstate and Confederate Yankee seem to fall into several distinct groups who may not get along with with each other. While they fantasize about Civil War II, they forget that many revolutions feature a lot of fratricide among the rebel factions.

First there are the Randian libtard mutant libertarian who say "Obama and Bush are the same," so kill them all. Riiiightt, except at the moment "killing them all" will mean killing 100% Democrats. These folks want you to believe that they were just as angry at Bush, but it's just a matter of timing that they are going to shoot Democrats. Just coincidence.

Revolution against both ruling parties is no longer a matter of IF; it is a matter of WHEN. And the WHEN is likely sooner than any of us could possibly anticipate.

Second there are the folks who say that Obama is some uniquely bestial and hideous form of evil. These guys say that the Democrats are the "fat cats," who must be crushed so that the Founding Fathers' tax cuts for the rich can be extended, because that is where the interests of the regular people are. Seriously, it's hard to believe, but they expect the Tea Baggers to throw themselves onto bayonets to protect some debutantes trust fund.

The jerk in the WH now is the mosr devisive, arrogant incompetent clown ever elected surpassing even Carter. He along with the other elitists now sitting are pushing you as hard as they can, daring you to react. Why? Simple. Start trouble and Obama can enact martial law and remain "king". Having said that I took the oath also and am prepared and hoping if the staus quo doesn't change in November change will be forthcoming.

Of course, this raises an interesting question - what happens when group #2 (Obama is evil incarnate) gives us a one party system that returns the Bush dynasty? Won't they collides with group #1 (Dems and GOPers are the same)? Wouldn't group #1 rebel against group #2?

Third there is a group which the wingnuts don't want to talk about - the Christian Reconstructionists, who are likely to touch off megachurch vs megachurch clashes much like mosques at war with each other in Iraq. Sharron Angle is pandering to this crowd.

Finally, there is a fourth group which is the elephant in the living room - the folks that have been prepping for Helter Skelter for years, the people that have been hoping for a national crisis so they have excuse to kill black people and other minorities. These are mean little bastards, and they don't just admire the Nazi SS, they even have the uniforms. Where are they? They are keeping a low profile, but they provide a lot of the the energy on the right. These are some nasty little douches.

Needless to say, these dingbats don't really envision anything like Democracy. Some of the folks at Confederate Yankee ask if the rebels are really prepared to kill fellow Americans, and there is some chest thumping about how they are vets with impressive kill records ready and eager to cap their neighbors for ...something.

"Since you brought up the idea of revolution, I gotta ask. How much thought have you given to the idea of killing your fellow Americans?"That question presumes that I view those people as "fellow Americans." That's a very big presumption that might not be true. It's increasingly obvious that those people look at me not as a "fellow American," but as a serf who's expected to bow and scrape in the presence of his betters.
"Could you line someone up in rifle sights and pull the trigger?"
Been there, done that, wore the t-shirt.
Any more silly questions?

And this clown

All of my retired military and police friends have been sensing a coming situation. All of them are quietly stocking up and quietly waiting to get through what is coming.
I'm glad I found your blog today!

Sort of like these idiots (including a bronze star veteran) who shot a guy a rifle range to steal his gun for their rebellion?

Peake told police he had been stealing guns for an organization that is collecting firearms to overthrow the federal government, court documents say. Peake also told police that he and Tuso are members of the organization, but refused to give its name. Sadly, these guys seem to be frozen in the past at the point where they shot someone, and they don't seem like they'll be at all picky once they get rolling. As long as they get their afternoon nap.
