The ECMWF is now onboard with the GFS and CMC in forcasting a major cape verde hurricane in the coming couple of days. Will see if it holds for a couple runs, and if so, id say we will be getting our 1st major cape verde hurricane next week.

BTW cape verde season typically starts around Aug 1st so right on time. And for those not in the know, lol, cape verde hurricanes are the long track ones that come from Africa
