Winning Brands Listing with New Zealand's Leading Grocer

Winning Colours Stain Remover goes on shelves in August

Press Release Source: Winning Brands Corporation On Tuesday July 27, 2010, 5:02 am EDT

LOS ANGELES, July 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Winning Brands Corporation (Pink Sheets: WNBD; Frankfurt: WMU), North American manufacturer of cleaning sensation Winning Colours Stain Remover, announced today that New Zealand's largest grocery group, Progressive Enterprises, http://www.progressive.co.nz, has placed its opening order to put Winning Colours Stain Remover on store shelves in approximately 120 of its locations initially. The stores operate under the banners of Countdown, Woolworths and Foodtown, servicing approximately 2.5 Million customers per week. The grocer also operates a rapidly growing on-line food shopping service. Initial Winning Colours placement is scheduled for August. Progressive's parent company, Woolworths Limited, http://www.woolworthslimited.com.au, is headquartered in Australia where it is also the largest grocer, amongst other interests that make it one of the world's 20 largest retailers.

The development is significant for Winning Brands because Progressive's stores account for over 40% grocery market share in New Zealand. This new account provides an efficient foundation on which to develop the Winning Colours Stain Remover brand into a national favourite, because it puts Winning Colours within easy reach of a significant proportion of the country's consumers. Kori Walsh, Winning Brands Product Ambassador for Australia, who also oversees the work of Winning Brands associates in New Zealand, remarks, "It is a huge milestone for Winning Colours to begin working with a chain of this stature." Winning Brands International Sales Manager, Daniela Relja, adds, "The next step is to ramp up marketing concepts quickly and meet the turnover required to sustain a long term partnership. We already are developing initiatives with Progressive to get the word out to consumers."

Winning Brands CEO, Eric Lehner, concludes that a brand like Winning Colours, which is gaining consumers on opposite sides of the world, has significant potential; "For a young consumer product company like Winning Brands to eventually reach and surpass the $100 million figure, a global brand position is important. By establishing ties with suitable retailers in world markets, gaining even a small percentage of total market share delivers a powerful upside. Some people forget that the world's population is still growing at the rate of 100 million people per year. We manufacture a product(s) that are useful in households everywhere. It's just a matter of getting to them."
