No, I have not tried contacting Telogis or Remote Dynamics because
I figured they would not be able to tell us anything at this point
nor do they want to. I did research other companies from the past who had purchased assets of other companies and then later, purchased the other company trying to figure out a time frame.
I went into the sec files for Nokia from a few years back, as they had many acquisitions, and while I did not find exactly what I was looking for, I did find some other insightful information.
What I believe is happening with us now is a transitional period
whereby all of remotes' hundreds of accounts are being integrated into the Telogis system.(it appears to be a friendly acquisition, with support from remote people)
Telogis may be purchasing our entire company in steps
including our shares that would be another another step.
If Telogis is planning on going public that is another step which the SEC would require financial disclosure from Telogis
OR they may be waiting on the approval of funds to complete the purchase of our shares then apply to go public.
Way too complicated to figure out exact details of this deal
but it has already been three weeks and if bad news were coming from Remote, we would have got it already IMO.
So...we wait and yes I agree, we will either get shares of Telogis
or cash for our shares, so IMO the companies are not going to do anything at this point to encourage new people to buy in or us old people to buy more.
Based on a year of past experiences with Remote, many of us thought they were a very up front company who did everything by the book. Who can forget that huge package we all received before they voluntarily delisted.
I believe they knew this deal was in the works before they delisted and it may have been necessary part to close this deal.
Copetition within the industry is great and why would they want to show their hands. The deal is LAYERED just like their product and that is fine with me. I am sure there are addendums which can be changed or modified as the deal moves along. When all is said and done they will, someone will, notify us.
Hope this helps. This is all my opinion, and I hold shares.
