Oil idea: Napoleon mechanic and inventor Douglas Pelmear said he has developed a technique that could help stop the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico. Pelmear said he has been in communication with Ohio Congressman Bob Latta's office regarding the invention. He indicated that the idea, which involves melting a plastic pipe with low-voltage electricity, has been forwarded to the United States Coast Guard. Pelmear awaiting word from U.S. government's alternative technology assessment team on how to proceed with the invention.
