Perspective – Use It or Lose It. Sometimes I forget what is going on around me and how important it is to stop, look and listen to the signs.

I spent this past Memorial Day weekend in New York “Stopping” to clear my head and get perspective on what is ahead for MMR this week. It was so out of character for me that I actually got nervous, as if something was wrong. However, as I look back now, nothing was wrong-everything was right.

I took the chance to appreciate what was happening. First, appreciating our company spokesperson (who happens to be my wife) Kira.

Too often I lose sense of the forest through the trees. I rarely stop, and I often forget how powerful it is to go on auto-pilot. However, something always comes along to let me know I am on the right path.

I just left Rockefeller Center where Kira was live on the Today Show with Al Roker acknowledging The Lorsch Foundation Trust contributions to The California Science Center. Yesterday I spent the day in meetings focused on MMRGlobal’s growth strategy to expand it’s product line through strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities. The Company realizes the importance of bringing a comprehensive collection of solutions into the doctor’s office. It takes clarity to find these kind of opportunities which don’t always seem obvious in the drama of the day-to-day challenges that occupy our daily lives. Sometimes it feels like I am living in a giant juicer, with a permanent “on” switch. I think they call it a “Type A” lifestyle.

Today, I have a series of meetings that impact the future of some of the Companys bio-tech assets. Clearly a subject and an opportunity that requires awareness of the opportunities around us, and the patience to get to the finish line. However, with more than 100 million dollars in trials already under our belt, one opportunity is to take advantage of what we own through licensing and Material Transfer agreements. This way the Company can cost effectively leverage its bio-tech assets with multiple partners that can benefit of the Company and its shareholders.

By tomorrow I should be back to “Type A” mode as I spend the next 24 hours with Kodak resellers, Chartis executives and planned new business opportunities at Verizon Wireless. Recognizing the importance of bringing MMR to the wireless handset is something the Company has focused on over the past year. Because our delivery system relies on telecommunications, the Company will continue to actively seek the right telecommunications partners.

There are so many events around me that sometimes it becomes hard to know what to do first. So this week, thinking about this blog became a reminder for a to do list. However, first I had to create a what not to do list.

Everything happens at the right time. That must be why I just picked up the current special two-week issue of Newsweek with its Biotech cover entitled “Desperately Seeking Cures”, just what I’m about to go out to try and do.
