I will address your question with the response as follows:

On our news release dated October 16, 2007, we stated that SBM Solar (a strategic partner) was in the process of obtaining UL certification for their all polymer packaged PV modules. Upon receiving a UL certification for their module, SBM was intending to resubmit their module after replacing their standard backsheet material with BioBacksheet.

Unfortunately, it took more than 2 years for SBM to obtain their final UL certification earlier this year. At this time, however, there are many more PV module manufacturers intending to use BioBacksheet.

For the latest version of the BioBackshet (mono layer) that just entered commercial production, the polymer resin (BioBacksheet is extruded from) already has a UL listing. The BioBacksheet film itself does not have to have its own UL listing at this time. All that is required by UL at this time is that the entire PV module incorporating BioBacksheet passes UL 1703 test.

Hopefully this will address your issues. Regards

Tom Becker
