My Monkinar Experience
I attended the Indy Monkinar and was blown away by what I learned and the people I met. It was great to have so many like minded and fun people in the same room. Monk was exceedingly generous with his time and answered all of my questions (I had a list of over 25 before the Monkinar). He also has an extremely quick wit. He even made it a point to come over and talk to my wife during lunch and explain to her why I'm not going to jail for being a part of float locks and trading the F's.
One of the aspects I liked best was hearing everyone's story on how they ended up at a Monkinar.
Hearing about other people's "hope stocks" was very humbling and I was pretty embarrassed about my investment strategy in the past. I kinda jumped into the pool of investing without testing the temperature of the water or even knowing how to swim. Fortunately, before I drowned I was able to doggy paddle over to the Den and received some expert instruction.
I'm supremely confident that I will be swimming in no time.
I highly recommend a Monkinar to anyone who wants to take their earning potential to the next level. My goal is to retire from engineering on Sept 20, 2011... I think I will be able to do it.
