Great Post vikingzskill! That is exactly what I would do if I was a CEO of a penny stock. Fighting manipulation takes resources out of a company, where many companies don't have the resources or time to fight back. But many must use these tactics to fight the legal short selling and the illegal naked short selling. Illegal I say because doesn't naked short selling create phantom shares that dilute the stock? Isn't that like making counterfeit shares? Last time I checked counterfeiting "anything of value" and to pass them off as real is Illegal in this country.

I suggested through email these tactics to HESG.

Forward Split

Offer Dividend...Short interest must cover the dividend when trading the stock.

Buy Back/Retirement of A/S... Some call this Short Seller Capture Capital. Done with Strategic Timing it can really mess up a short sellers day. Which I believes was the tactic TG tried to use... which Scottraid did not like too much.

Merger or Ticker Change would also force share to be accounted for or fail to produce or deliver for the Broker or Market Maker.

All of tactics these I would take resources from company, and many just do not have the resources to spare to fight this. But thanks to your post it looks like the market and investors are becoming more aware.

You should read whats going on on the NITE board...just unbelievable!

Read what NITE did to this investor had 78 companys had a total market value of over $ 186,000... not anymore.

Well on friday I tried placing orders via nite routing and all my orders were automaticaly routed to AUTO, first time ever which tells me something is going down with nite. Im gonna fight scottrade and etrade for taking away my so called worthless stock (oh night sold them to me short I guess). They didnt care to sell em cause they wanted the commision knowingly they had no transfer agent. Jurnal entrys.

yes!!!! they took them out of my acct. just like that and can give you a list od them too.

they are considered worthless stock but yet they sold them to me & to be honest with these so called worthless stock I baught 2 houses paid in full. I still dont understand what worthless means when i am willing to put a bid under anything that trades. Oh were gonna argue the price? thats ok by me 0.0003 can be just as valuable than $ 15.65 to nite.

No transfer agent & I as a retail investor am responsible to know but they sold them to me within these past 3 month. yeah I know what they did,they were thinly traded stock after many r/s and don't wanna cover at high prices cause they will have to buy em back from me at the ask or they sold me stock that never existed but couldn't care less they r getting commisions.

They (scottrade/etrade) also claim that they get charged a fee for every stock that trades under a penny to hold them so maybe since the public don't trade em they dont wanna hold them,, so screw me.
