The company appreciates your concern.
For that reason, your e-mail deserves a response.
The fact is that Bill Caldwell went two years without receiving his salary.
In addition, during that time, he funded the company's operations out of his own pocket.
The recently announced compensation package reflects the recognition by the board of his success
in keeping the company alive and moving forward.

Is this true? I had no idea Caldwell was not paid for 2 years, and that he funded a lot of the operations. I had a hunch that he might have contributed, but not to this extent.
