Lot of people keep asking me about these giant short positions showing up on those reports. Just a thought or two....

Lot of the pennies I'm in now show a short like that everyday. Something is jacked about those short numbers. I think when you buy shares through one market maker but get filled by a different mm it shows up short until the three day settlement is up and the shares get moved from one MM to the other. If you buy shares and you get routed through Nite lets say, and Nite is also low man on the ask and he fills your order it doesn't go on that short list because Nite was both sides of the trade and only has to deliver shares to himself that he already has so there's no FTD.(TRM)
