VMSY/IPDG Medical Technology...

New strategic partnership with UDU, LLC to develop a robust remote collaboration application, the Net Utility Vehicle (NUV), that will allow first responders to work together in real-time over the Internet, regardless of geography, connection-type, weather constraints and other limiting issues, with a specific focus of the joint project on the growing field of telemedicine.

Unlike traditional telemedicine applications, the NUV is a comprehensive collaboration application that allows multiple-users to actually work together remotely, not just teleconference images back and forth like many telemedicine apps today. Users will also not have to rely on any one connection-type, but may utilize satellite communications, wireless CDMA, or other types of data connections. In addition to telemedicine, NUV has applications in the military, veterinary and industrial markets, but due to current market demand the parties believes the telemedicine market is the best opportunity for the partnership to show immediate returns.

NUV is being jointly developed utilizing software and solutions provided by UDU and IPDG's network architecture, video hardware and transmission capability. "By leveraging both UDU's solutions and experience in the telemedicine marketplace combined with our technology platforms and distribution networks, we should be able to deliver a truly unique application for the telemedicine marketplace," stated Jason Gonzalez, President and CEO of Visual Management Systems.

"We specialize in understanding workflows and developing customized solutions that enable interdisciplinary teams to achieve more effective outcomes. For us, accountability to the stated mission of first responders is paramount," stated Bruce Bowdish, PhD Founder of UDU.

The global healthcare IT market is projected to exceed $24 billion by 2015, according to a report by Research and Markets. The American Telemedicine Association also recently published a white paper stating that telemedicine, or information technology enhanced healthcare, must be a core component of any viable healthcare reform strategy and is essential to healthcare reform.
