toddao -- idiocy is an act, and therefore a choice, of self-creation -- and it is borne of, among other things, a search for an easy way out of a problem that avoids taking responsibility by refusing to acknowledge what's real in order to shunt away understanding and dealing with consequences
such a law, if it could be enforced (which it couldn't) and could be effective in purging such idiocies from the minds of those seeking an easy way out (which it couldn't), would itself be an (attempted) easy way out
those enslaved, by their own self-chosen 'I'm-just-fine-and-just-don't-wanna-deal-with-it' idiocy, to categorical denial of a significant collective human role in global warming, will have to free themselves -- as with all things, that's just the way it is, and the rest of us are stuck with that
the already overwhelming good science showing the warming and our role in it will continue to pile up as the warming continues -- and the rest of us can, and will, and indeed must (as that is our responsibility), continue to speak out against such idiocy, as it is destructive to all of us
but, again as with all things -- there are none so blind as those who will not see
