Reading Tapes:

I've personally called a LOT of these so called recovery places.......when I start talking about computer tapes from the 60's they are not optimistic. They just can't guarantee results. And they charge an arm and a leg. One of them wanted $200 just for an evaluation. NONE of them guarantee 100% recovery like JBII does.

You have to remember that the CEO John Bordynuik has been in electronics since he was a kid. He developed Special tape drives and software to read these old tapes. The software is just as important as the hardware. A lot of this data is in database form, and if you don't get it all, you got a mess on your hands.

And if you don't treat these old tapes with care, you can ruin them beyond any recovery. A lot of companies put in bids with NASA, but since none of them could deliver, JBI was sole sourced by NASA to read them........NASA is not run by fools...lol.

And now we have oil companies that want their old seismic data reevaluated with modern software. It costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to drill a well.......you can bet that they want the most accurate data available. And that means JBII.

Bottom line is no one else can read these things with anything close to 100% accuracy.

Nobody can find even ONE company that can do it........They can put whatever they want on their websites, but when push comes to shove, they can't deliver...........z
