Key Risks
· Any positive outcome of the interest shown in acquiring majority stake in
Kuwait’s Zain can substantially boost our earnings estimates.
· Any grant of new licence in Africa or any acquisitions thereof would
positively impact our revenue growth estimates.
· The realty income from Noida property would also increase our earnings
estimates.
· The abolishment of license fees on fixed-line telephony would result in
positive impact on margin.
· The Company has surplus land and is planning to lease it out on a longterm
lease or revenue-sharing arrangement. The unlocking of its land
value can be a key risk to our rating.
