Pak-It Product Report:

Ok I sent away for the sample pack, and here's my results. To be honest, I wasn't that optimistic at first.

This is what I got. 3 spray bottles with Glass Cleaner, Citrus Cleaner, and Neutral Disinfectant Cleaner packs already inside them.

Then there were 3 clamshells, with packs inside them. Laundry Detergent, and Neutral Floor Cleaner (2 sizes; 1 for 1.5 Gallon mixes, and one ready to be put into a Floor Machine):

This shows the yellow Floor Cleaner packs:

So I added water to the Citrus Cleaner spray bottle, and the Glass Cleaner bottle (Water from my SunStill on that one...it's distilled).

Both packs dissolved after a minute or so.

Glass Cleaner Test:

This glass has been laying around for a few years, and it's a little dirtier than Guz's was probably. I needed to clean it anyway to cut some strips for my still:

After spraying the cleaner on, I started wiping. Wow. This stuff is amazing. I was hearing squeaks during my first few wipes:

It didn't take long, and the glass was squeaky clean. No residue either. I was impressed.

I'd recently laid a coat of paint on a roof, and there was overspray on the sky light.....Hmmm I thought....I wonder:

Sprayed a little on and this is the first wipe:

Finish again was nice and clean. It works fast.

Citrus Cleaner Test:

I sprayed some on one of my chainsaws:

Let it soak for less than a minute, then hosed it off. I didn't do any scrubbing/rubbing whatsoever:

I put the Citrus Cleaner up against Castrol Super Clean, which is my favorite cleaner. I was testing on some real nasty caked on dirt/grease. The Castrol beat the Citrus Cleaner...I'd say by about 40-50%.

But then again, Castrol has Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) in it, which is powerful and toxic stuff. In everyday cleaning, they would both be equally effective, since the Castrol would be total overkill.

Bottom line on the Citrus Cleaner is that this is VERY effective, which was surprising, considering that this is a 'Green' product.

Laundry Test:

I did a load with one of the laundry packs. Everything came out nice and clean.

Then I did another load with Tide w/Bleach for comparison.

The socks of the Pak-It wash were actually whiter than the Tide ones.

Then I gave a laundry packet to a buddy and said 'Hey, try this and see what you think:'

Next day, he goes 'You know that laundry stuff you gave me....that stuff worked great'.

I asked him...'Better than what you were using?'.....he goes 'Hell yes!...check out my blanket'.

Bottom Line: These products are all excellent....beyond my expectations. I'm gonna start using them all when retail versions become available..........z
