I_Invest, Dog RECAF could indeed be run on automated machines but only by those licensees with a semi exclusive license. Moro has an Abbott analyzer at Pacific BioSciences and he could also run the tests on that machine as long as he did not sign another semi exclusive licensee. If he signed another semi exclusive licensee, he could not use his analyzer unless he got rid of Abbott.
I think Moro ran the saliva tests on a modified version of the automated machine so he may have in fact also run the dog RECAF tests on that machine. It is a prototype of the Architect that Abbott gave him.
