Methes owns the Denami 600 Biodiesel Processor Technology

the Denami 600 is the most reliable and cost effective way of producing quality top grade B100 biodiesel fuel which meets or exceeds current ASTM standards in 5M liters (1.3M gallons) per year increments.

from SRE website we can read :Our proposed biodiesel services

Produce biodiesel fuels to meet American ASTM D6751 and BQ9000 standards to ensure maximum distribution and

Produce top grade B100 biodiesel fuel

and Develop fully automated state-of-the-art continuous flow biodiesel processors capable of running on a variety of feed stocks

Methes receives $4.8 million from Canadian government in support of biodiesel project
In Canada, Methes Energies Canada announced that it will receive $4.8 million over a seven year period ending in 2015, under an agreement it has signed with Natural Resources Canada under the the ecoENERGY for Biofuels program.

The contribution has been granted for Methes’ 1.9 Mgy biodiesel facility located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

The ecoENERGY for Biofuels Program supports the production of renewable alternatives to gasoline and diesel, as well as encourages the development of a competitive domestic industry for

2-SOLAR energy Find:
--------------------------------------------------------------

Friday 19 June 2009

SunSi Energies Inc. has executed a letter of intent to purchase 90% of a joint-venture Chinese company specifically formed to own the assets, expertise and technology of an existing trichlorosilane (TCS) production facility in Zibo, China, as well as its affiliated trucking and transportation company, which delivers TCS from the production facility to existing clients within China.

The acquired company will be engaged in the production of TCS, a chemical that is primarily used in the production of polysilicon, with a current production capacity of 25,000 metric tons of TCS per year.

TCS is considered to be the first product in the solar PV value chain before polysilicon and is also the principal source of ultrapure silicon in the semiconductor industry, says SunSi Energies.

This acquisition provides SunSi with the opportunity to become the first and only U.S. publicly traded company to mainly focus its operations on the production of TCS, the company adds.

Kebir Ratnani, Member of Advisory Board

Mr. Ratnani possesses an encompassing 30 year experience in the natural gas, electricity, windmill, waste water and water sectors. He holds a B. Sc. A. and a M. Sc. A. in Chemical Engineering. Mr. Ratnani’s proficiency in his fields of expertise led him to develop 13 inventions for which he now owns patents; all related to natural gas, petrochemical and environmental technologies.

In 1997, He was appointed VP of Hydro Quebec International. In this capacity, he was responsible for the Technology, Transfer and BOT (Build, Operate & Transfer) and Concession Projects.

More recently, in 2000, he joined SNC-Lavalin International; one of the leading engineering and construction groups in the world and a major player in the ownership of infrastructure, and in the provision of operations and maintenance services, as Senior VP. He is responsible for Water, Energy and Infrastructure Projects in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.

Kebir Ratnani Patents

http://www.patentgenius.com/inventedby/RatnaniKebirBouchervilleCA.html

his patents are used in the Making Trichlorosilane (TCS)
The process of producing Trichlorosilane begins by mining for relatively pure silicon dioxide (sand or quartz). The next step in the process is to separate the silicon from the oxygen which is achieved by heating sand grains containing silicon dioxide with carbon at very high temperature. At the end of this stage, the silicon or metallurgical grade silicon (MGS) is about 97% pure.

In order to reach a purity level suitable for semiconductor device and solar applications, the MGS goes through a purification process, which involves the reaction of MGS with hydrogen chloride. This reaction will finally form Trichlorosilane.

The distillation process, the final step in producing high quality Trichlorosilane, is all about bringing impurities below the part-per-billion (ppb) level. Liquefied Trichlorosilane at room temperature is purified by the distillation process until the impurity levels are acceptable

SunsiEnergies is kind of Intel of the solar industry

in every solar panel they shall be present !!!

Trichlorosilane (TCS) is the most important starting material for producing high purity silicon, which is used in semiconductor chips and solar cells.

Trichlorosilane (TCS) is additionally the main ingredient needed to produce Polycrystalline Silicone (Polysilicon), which is the key feedstock for almost all of the solar cells and modules produced today! Silicon-based Photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules accounted for over 90% of all PV production in 2008
