Artfest International, Inc. Announces Debut of the Preeminent "Artfest Expo Center"
DALLAS, TX, Apr 24, 2009 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Artfest International, Inc. (OTCBB: ARTI) announces new corporate office and residence in the Expo Center, located in the prestigious North Dallas design district. In collaboration with the center's proprietor and the City of Dallas, the building will be renamed the "Artfest Expo Center."
"The Artfest Expo Center will host gallery events, artistic shows, and a gathering center for retail in the central Texas region," explained Edward Vakser, CEO. "The inspiration in this center is to provide a prominent setting for designers and collectors of fine art and memorabilia. Our goal is to bring our projects and artists together with consumers."
Statistics confirm the Expo Center to be situated in one of the most preeminent retail and design demographic areas. The Expo Center generated an average of $700 per square foot as a Gabbert's furniture showplace, amassing over 100,000 square feet of potential. "In the retail industry, traffic is a vital study, as the idea is to locate where masses of potential consumers reside," elaborates Angie Tassan, CMO. "Revenue per square footage is a calculation used to determine the profitability and prospect of a particular area of interest."
The Artfest Expo Center's grand opening will take place on May 2nd, 2009, integrating three consecutive "Creating Wealth Through Art" seminars at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m., respectively. After hours entertainment will feature Dallas's hottest new musical and visual artists. The 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. show will be coordinated by Sir Earl Toon, Artfest's new musical director.
