OXNARD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CalAmp Corp. (NASDAQ: CAMP - News), a leading provider of wireless products, services and solutions, today announced the release of its Dataradio Sentry 4G™ Wireless IP Router, a new rugged broadband communications and networking platform designed to support both mobile and fixed devices on a common infrastructure. The Sentry 4G is ideally suited for wide area coverage and bandwidth-intensive applications with data transmission speeds of up to 6 Mbps. Initially released for use in the 900 MHz ISM band, applications include smart grid communications, streaming video, mobile data, high speed SCADA/Telemetry, fleet management, video surveillance and a host of other mission critical applications.
