Local Paint Store Testimonial

As part of my DD, as mentioned before, I bought 24 4oz bottles for .99 online and have been sampling folks, etc.

I didn't expect such detail response, but hey, I'll take it :)

Stranger,

I am writing to you in response after using MULTI-USAGE WINNING COLOURS MULTI-CLEANER. I only have one complaint about this product. My complaint is that it worked so well that my boss wanted me to use WINNING COLOURS to clean everything in the store. The product worked fabulous and this statement comes from a skeptic. When my boss handed me WINNING COLOURS to use for a test run, I figured it was just another product that wouldn’t work as well as our top selling multi-use cleaner*. I grabbed a rag and poured some on one of our dirty paint shakers. It started running towards the edge of the shaker, so I grabbed a rag and wiped the shaker. To my surprise, it started to work immediately. This sparked my curiosity and I began to really put WINNING COLOURS on the entire shaker, using a ½ artist brush to dry brush it out so it could do it’s work. I then took a nylon wire brush and really worked it into the paint and let it sit for about 5 min. I wiped it off with a warm damp rag and I was very pleased with the results.

Even though I was a believer in this product by this time, I had to compare it to our top multi-use cleaner*. I used our top multi-use cleaner* on a different paint shaker. I didn’t really notice the smell, or lack of, WINNING COLOURS until I started to use our top multi-use cleaner*. Our top multi-use cleaner* not only has a very strong chemical scent, but also recommended that I use stripping gloves while using it. Our top multi-use cleaner* did not leave a lot of time for me to work a large area at one time for it would dry too fast and I found myself having to use more of the product just to get it wet enough to work with and to wipe off. On top of using more of the product, I had to put forth twice the scrubbing and wiping than that of WINNING COLOURS. After I would re-apply our top multi-use cleaner, it still left behind a sludge like residue that seem to spread the more I tried to get rid of it. I had no problems with any residue with Winning colors.

When comparing our top multi-use cleaner* to WINNING COLOURS, WINNING COLOURS takes the checkered flag. Doing this comparison test turned a skeptic into a believer. The most amazing thing about this product is that it is kind enough to clean your hands**, but has the guts and endurance to remove unimaginable mishaps. We are considering to place this product into our inventory. Our only fear in this consideration is that our top multi-use cleaner* would sit on our shelves forever and become a loss for our company.

* our top multi-use cleaner is ‘Goof Off The Ultimate Remover’
** WINNING COLOURS does not specify that this product is safe for the use of cleaning the skin.
However, I used WINNING COLOURS to clean my hands with no sense of chemical burn or dryness.

just_an_ant notes on the above:

I didn’t have time to go into detail about the product, I just dropped it off with my partner’s client contact (owner) at this store. I gave him a 4oz bottle and printed out instructions and basically said, this will clean all that equipment fairly easily from what I have seen. Could you test it and let me know.

I didn’t expect this type of feedback (written and photos and such), I didn’t ask for it, I just expected a phone call that said; yeah it worked pretty good. Where can I buy a bigger size bottle.

From the above you can tell, the product I gave him had the old label, not the “Stain Remover” newer label. Also, he must not have read the five page instructions, otherwise he would have known it was safe for hands.

So this 25+ veteran of the industry, just trialed it (with great skepticism – oh no another product from the boss lol), yet was pleasantly surprised. I think probably “shocked” is a better word.

I have little doubt if this is repeated over and over across this country that Winning Colours will make huge inroads, grab sizeable market share, and replace those ugly smelling very dangerous chemical cleaners in the paint industry. Not to mention additional benefits of using everyday on other stain issues in the household or at work.
