BOARD RULES:
This board is intended to engage in intellectually honest political discourse. Ideas are put forward and discussed in an adult manner.
As far as content:
1) If you find the "right" is almost always wrong, or the "left" is almost always objectionable, then this board is probably not for you.
2) If you feel that using childish names for politicians is an important part of your post, then this board is definitely not for you.
3) If you feel that all Palestinians want to launch rockets to kill Israelis or all Israelis want to engage in operations to kill Palestinians, then this board is definitely not for you.
4) If you think 9/11 was an inside job, and you're sure the Fed is run by a greedy banking syndicate to steal personal liberties, then this board is absolutely not for you.
5) If you have not traveled to a foreign country *in another continent* but are itching to insult those who live in those countries, then this board is not for you.
6) If you feel it your obligation to post silly graphic mash-ups, such as one of George W. Bush and a chimp, or Obama alongside Hitler, then this board is not for you.
7) If you feel it is your duty to post articles only, without providing an accompanying, insightful or rational comment, then this board is not for you.
I will:
1) Unconditionally delete posts that have silly, over-the-top graphic mash-ups (see #6 above). Satirical cartoons and others that make a relevant point to a current affair or situation are welcome.
2) Encourage posters to add comments with respect to articles that they post. Please do not just post something you found on a left-wing or right-wing site and leave it at that. Give us something to reflect on and give us your unique insight.
3) Discourage posters from making discussions personal.
4) Do my best to moderate. But I do have a real job, and things might back up from time to time.
