Todays Corp blog posts on NEXT today------------------------->

To Bill or Not to Be!
My first blog ever on the Internet. These are exciting times for us at Nexicon, we have achieved so much in the past several years and in these days despite the economy we are getting more attention then ever. We are making room and plans for expansion and the day has finally come where we are feeling confident about everything to go full speed into the market.

The only words coming out of my mouth these days to my colleagues are “hire sales people, get more”. Nexicon is now tracking 19.2 billion transactions per day, which is truly insane. Imagine, just a handful of people handling 19.2 billion transactions, and compare that to other corporations. Google has around 3 billion searches per month (2006 numbers from searchenginewatch.com). Facebook just turned the corner with 10 billion photos. Compare Nexicon with its handful of engineers to 5000-6000 employee corporations, and we have reached an incredible point in our company’s history.

So what are we doing with all this data? We are taking each one of those records, turning around and selling it multiple times in different markets. Nexicon’s R&D department is likely the most advanced next generation, innovative group in the world. We have developed some very exciting products to be launched shortly. We even plan to have retail products available for every Internet user around the world.

We are in the process of launching a new paradigm around digital media distribution that no other bright minds in the world have come up with “yet”. This market standard is already being sought by Fortune 100 companies who deal daily with the problems that our solution will solve. All of this will be achieved with probably the best ROI (Return on Investment) anyone will ever see. Our MARC(TM) technology platform enables us to communicate with 95 million pirates per day, run on the same budget that one could purchase a Bentley. ‘Comparative’ products (which do not exist) would require a budget suitable for the complete build-out of a Bentley manufacturing facility. We are extremely proud and very excited to hit the market at full speed.

Writing this makes these last 4 years seem so easy, and I was just reminded as to the reason behind this blogging - insight into our company, our culture and our planned future state for the digital media marketplace. “Visions and goals” a smart person once told me to call it. Nexicon’s visions and goals will in an ignorant mind create doubt and skepticism, but that is something I was told when I founded this company and so far we have proven the skeptics wrong. The market is what you create it to be and where the very few first players take it. Our vision can not be compared to other vendors or any other market. Our future market is still being played out in the head of the first movers. How do we know? We are already in discussions with major entities and companies about revenue share models that would, if implemented a decade ago, saved entire industries.

People are very curious about our pilot efforts, i.e. how they are going and what are the results. Well, here they are and I am not going to sugar coat anything here, because it is hard for me not to scream “told you all so”. When we started GetAmnesty people were skeptical and negative on the model, for multiple reasons that where reasonable with limited amount of creativity, innovation and very long term thinking. We had a vision about the future and started GetAmnesty as a way of getting to that point. The thing about our GetAmnesty pilot was that this point came far sooner then I had anticipated, which to my positive surprise also came much easier then I would ever anticipated. After a few thousand of GetAmnesty DMCA notices, we started getting business-related feedback on the opportunity for involved parties to share revenue. This was amazing to have achieved that during early phase. The feedback also highlighted that our communications and methods were never seen before, so accurate and presentable that we were basically welcomed into the market space with open arms. I make it sound easy, but it wasn’t. We still have roads to pave and rocks to turn over. But I can promise everyone involved that we will make history. And that is at this point guaranteed. To all the people that have stuck in there with us and believed in us all along, the time is coming where we all will harvest the fruits of our hard labor and patience.

Update to our GetAmnesty product is that: 1)The system has gone into full production and 2)The world has never seen these kind of notices and this type of control and indisputable evidence. No, Nexicon will not send notices to printers or other funny devices before someone posts a comment on that. Nexicon is going to be the first in the world to provide indisputable evidence of repeat infringers and tie direct revenue from pirated content from said infringers. Here is a little look into the future: GetAmnesty and Nexicon will be the first corporation in the world to enable infringers to police themself in a 100% automated enviroment. Imagine if you could easily and with the click of a mouse button see what your spouse is doing on the Internet, OR your kids? And what if you can buy this capability at your local Walmart or BestBuy. Stay tuned.

I will have to conclude my first blog at this point, but this was so fun that you might have to come back and read some more blogs from me later this week. I will share insight and points that people 5 years from now will post and say: look what Tommy said back then.

Best,

Tommy

Welcome to Next!
On behalf of our entire company, I would like to welcome you to Nexicon’s official corporate blog, Next. As the leader of all things strategic for Nexicon, it only made perfect sense to provide this outlet for my esteemed colleague and friend Tommy Stiansen, who happens to be the smartest person I have ever met, provide his thoughts and musings on the industry, the digital media marketplace, and how Nexicon will play a pivotal role in the future of all things digital on the Internet. As founder and CTO for Nexicon, Tommy has created some of the most incredible and game-changing technologies for digital media content owners, Internet Service Providers, telecommunication companies, merchant banks, payment processors, advertisers, touring bands, and a product or two for everyone playing at home. You have heard about some of our products and offerings like GetAmnesty or PayArtists, but there is much more on the way, and you will be hearing about some of them very soon.

You can learn about our products here, and I am excited to report that our new corporate website is in development and will be up in just a few short weeks.

Please read our About section for important information about good behavior on our blog.

A parting thought - Tommy is from Norway, and English is his third language. While our crack editorial department is on point to review and ‘fix’ any Norwegian slang which might be present, there is no telling what might Tommy do at 2am in Malibu on his new toy while our crack editorial department is asleep.

Enjoy!

Sam
