Everyone with SPZI...

I just spoke to someone at Bloomberg. The contract they have with SPZI is very real and very true.

IT IS NOT A RUMOR! IT IS A CLOSED & SIGNED CONTRACT!

Here’s who I spoke to:

Cris Brockmeyer
http://www.linkedin.com/pub/8/91a/691
Business Development at Bloomberg Tradebook
https://assist.bloomberg.com/
(212)318-2000

The problem is getting them to PR it. Chris confirmed for me that it’s up to their 250,000 subscribers and how they like the product to determine how much SPZI will make in Revenues. Chris believes that a PR is not necessary as they sign contracts with companies on a regular basis and never PR them.

However, from further DD, Chris does not know that it was actually Bloomberg that went to SPZI to utilize their software and not the other way around. Chris also does not know that there are some plans for marketing the SPZI software to the 250,000 Bloomberg subscribers which was part of the contract agreement as indicated on the SPZI website: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=32376444

Chris is aware and has proof of the contract between Bloomberg and SPZI, but he is not the one who closed the deal so he is not aware of the details discussed between the original Bloomberg party and SPZI. There is a chance Bloomberg just might be releasing a PR about the SPZI contract they signed with them in the near future.

What he also doesn’t know too was that it was an agreed amount of seats that Bloomberg has agreed to that makes this contract a multimillion dollar contract. The things that Chris did not know, I didn’t mention to him because of knowing my other source for this Bloomberg information is different than him. Also, I think it would have looked rather arrogant of me to have shown him that I knew more about the contract deal than what he knew.

From doing my due diligence (DD), I am sticking to my valuation thoughts below:

The secret to profitable investing is to buy into well-run companies at the beginning of their earnings growth cycle—before Wall Street takes notice and bids up the stock price.
