87.5% RE-PARTICIPATION FROM PSL 9 TO PSL10:

There were 80 contestants in PSL9 (less Mr. Sheep). 70 of them are in PSL10. That is a 87.5% re-participation rate - third highest!

We have 6 newcomers (Rookies) --- (RiskAnalyst, Kozuh, GWMan, Rocketeer, SamNoSamuel, Stanley01). Let's give them a big welcome. This is the second largest rookie class since PSL2.

Naturally one would wonder if the re-participation rate for PSL10 was correlated to where they finished in PSL9. There usually is a small correlation. This time is no different.

Shown below is the first group of 10 in the final PSL9 rankings and how many of them (10) are participating in PSL10, etc. Re-participation rates by groups of 10 are based on how each group finished in the previous PSL contest.

What is especially interesting is how the group that finished 31-40 in the previous contest is so ambivalent about the next one when the groups above and below are far more likely to participate.
