"Our patented technology for use on cased and thermally insulated pipelines is currently available as a service (EMW-C) to various industries including natural gas and oil pipelines, utilities, power plants, and refineries. Please see our services page for more details.

In addition, we are in the process of the development of this technology to be used inside pipelines to detect internal corrosion as well as a means to detect anomalies on direct buried pipelines. Research in these areas is ongoing.

Research and Development is currently conducted in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our R&D team is headed by Dr. Charles Frost and Dr. Ronald Focia.

Dr. Charles Frost is Chief Consulting Scientist directing development of new electromagnetic wave (EMW) pipeline corrosion testing methodology at Profile Technologies, Inc. He received his PhD in Physics from The University of New Mexico in 1980. From 1980 to 1994 he was a research scientist at Sandia National Laboratories where he developed high power electromagnetics (EM) systems, non-destructive testing, and fast pulse EM measurement techniques. From 1994 to present, he has been President of Pulse Power Physics, Inc., where he develops high power electromagnetic and non-destructive test equipment and performs government and commercial research.

Dr. Ronald J. Focia is Senior Consulting Research Scientist developing new technologies for Profile Technologies, Inc. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University in 1986. From 1986 to 1994 he was a nuclear trained US Naval submarine officer. From 1994 to 1996 he attended The University of New Mexico and earned a MS in Electrical Engineering. He received a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2002. From 1993 to present he has been conducting private, government and commercial research and development in the fields of pulsed power sources, electromagnetic measurement techniques, dielectric materials, and linear motors and control systems. He is currently President of Pulsed Power Laboratories, Inc."

"Revenues and Customers

The Company derives revenue solely from the sale of the EMW inspection technology service. The Company relies solely upon several employees, including the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Operating Officer to conduct the Company's sales activities.

The Company did not have revenues during the years ended June 30, 2007 and 2006, as it was engaged solely in the redevelopment of its testing hardware and software. The testing of that hardware and software is nearing completion. The Company is continuing ongoing efforts to improve its technology.

Sales and Marketing

The Company's sales and marketing strategy has been to position the Company's EMW inspection process as the method of choice to detect pipeline corrosion where the pipelines are either inaccessible to other inspection tools or much more costly to inspect with tools other than the Company's EMW technology. Pipelines are commonly found in refinery and chemical plants (such as insulated, overhead pipes), natural gas distribution systems (such as pipes buried in city streets), and natural gas transmission systems (such as road, bridge and stream crossings and concrete-encased pipes).

As described above, the Company has fabricated new pipe inspection hardware for the inspection of cased and insulated pipelines and is actively seeking industry cooperation and other financing sources in order to rigorously field test that hardware. In order to obtain additional revenue generating contracts, the Company intends to emphasize the unique capabilities of its cased and insulated pipeline testing method, the flexibility of the method's application, and its cost effectiveness as compared to other methods. In fiscal year 2008, the Company intends to continue its marketing efforts in the pipeline and utility buried pipe inspection markets in the lower-48 states, particularly in "high consequence areas" as defined in the federal Department of Transportation's regulations. However, there can be no assurance that the Company will be successful in concentrating its marketing efforts for the EMW technology on natural gas utility and pipeline markets.

Patents, Intellectual Property and Licensing

The Company pursues a policy of generally obtaining patent protection both in the United States and abroad for patentable subject matter in its proprietary technology. As of June 30, 2007, the Company had 11 issued U.S. patents, 3 issued foreign patents, 1 U.S. patent application pending, 4 foreign patents pending, 1 U.S. provisional patent application and 1 PCT International patent application."
