The California State Athletic Commission released the official attendance and gate ticket sales for this past Saturday’s Affliction: Banned. The organization’s debut event drew a total attendance of 14,832, which was good for a live gate ticket total of $2,085,510.
Of the 14,832 total tickets, 11,242 were sold, and 3,590 were complimentary. The majority of the 3,590 complimentary tickets were in the upper levels; including the 1,079 ($150 tickets), 822 ($100 tickets) and 652 ($50 tickets). Ticket prices ranged from $50 up to $1,000.
On Saturday, it was initially announced as a sold-out attendance of 13,988, however, the CSAC now reports that 15,572 tickets were available, and 740 went unsold/unused. The majority of those “deadwood” tickets were from the $200 (352 tickets) and $100 (248) sections.
There have been three previous UFC events at the Honda Center. This is how Affliction’s debut promotion stacked up:

UFC 59 (4/15/06): 13,814 tickets (13,060 paid) for a $2,191,450 gate sales
UFC 63 (9/23/06): 12,604 tickets (9,343 paid) for a $1,582,370 gate sales
UFC 76 (9/22/07): 13,770 tickets (11,817 paid) for a $1,985,000 gate sales
