Hard to know for sure who broke that 'news'.

The sequence of events regarding the breaking of the Hutchison Whampoa HK / NeoMedia 'news' seems to be:

Bena is what , 6 hours ahead of ET here? Are you 6 hours ahead of ET here as well lemonhead1de? If so , you posted at 9:27am your time.

If 6 hours IS the time zone differential between Bena and U.S. Eastern Time , I suppose if Bena posted the Hutchison Whampoa/NeoMedia entry sometime before 7am her time on 7/14 , Bena could actually have been the first to post it and streetzstylz' blog could have picked it up from there.

I can't find HW or NEOM-related info on that site , but then I don't read Chinese. Perhaps she does read Chinese , and has that site on her search lists , who knows.

JMO & I'm not a time-zone expert ... but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express.
