Ben Cook, Director of Veritas Tactical division, noted, "We are pleased with this purchase commitment as we believe that it is a strong validation of the benefits that our new Mark IV rifle launcher provides to law enforcement and military agencies. The Democratic National Convention will be a significant setting to demonstrate the less-lethal nature and tactical capabilities of our products, especially when compared to alternative systems." Cook added, "We continue to have follow-on discussions with multiple agencies which are currently evaluating the Mark IV rifle launchers."
SWAT CEO, Jeff McGonegal, added, "The receipt of this PO following extensive testing by Denver is exciting and hopefully marks the start of additional sales opportunities. We also continue to make progress on the steps required to consummate the merger with PepperBall Technologies that was announced on May 28, 2008."
