My picks for both Nsyom and KIK:

CNRD.pk-- trailing twelve month earnings of $2.80; a PE of 4.3. Their backlog continues to grow and they have a stock buyback in place. Repair division should grow as fuel prices make rehabbing old vessels more attractive. Backlog growing: "current backlog to approximately $102.0 million compared to $96.4 million at March 31, 2008 and $81.7 million at March 31, 2007."

DPDW.ob--strong uptrend in stock with steady, controlled climb. Recent aquisitions and improving balance sheet make this a hold for me at least (hopefully) to the 1.50-1.75 range, but even then, I plan to sell only the break-even shares and keep the rest as this company unfolds. DD well chronicled by both 10bagger and on the DPDW board.

EGMI--Impressive revenue and EPS growth and strong forecast for 2008 and 09. High fuel prices likely to keep 'gamers' closer to home i.e. Indian casinos, but fuel not high enough to keep folks from pulling the handle.

GPRE--Ethanol play that may not blossom in time for this contest, but bodes well for the future. From the company, "Merger to Create One of the Nation's Largest Ethanol Producers; Transaction Includes $60 Million Equity Infusion to Fund Future Growth and Acquisitions; Deal Expected to Be Accretive to EPS in 2009." Ethanol not sexy right now and I have serious doubts that ethanol is 'the answer' we are looking for, but it can get a facelift, tummy tuck, and makeover in an instant, so I'll stick with a co with a great q report that was seemingly missed by the market.

HOG--This is my corn/ethanol play as well...in a round about way...was recently in farm country Iowa a few weeks ago in a town of about 15,000....commented to owner about their large (probably had about 50 on the floor) selection of bikes... she laughed and told me 'they hardly had any'...all picked over by farmers taking a bit of their huge profits from crop prices and spoiling themselves. America's heartland buys American, so I'll stick with HOG, hoping for at least a solid pick with some upside to come.

SOYO.ob--If I hadn't been in corn country, I would have found something else..like maybe AYSI or something. Really feel SOYO is developing slower and is probably deadish money for a while. I'll be looking to trade out of this one soon. Long-term, looks good with a nice product in their flat screen tvs and monitors and have a great customer in OfficeMax, but just isn't getting the financial backing to release their products to improve their EPS (for now.)

Good luck to all.
