To begin with...all my picks are really just a compilation of some great market minds on the VMC boards. If you remember correctly, I am the original Mr. Sheep. Because of me winning PSL #1 by being the sheepiest they changed the rules to a blind draw. I'm not sure who brought these stocks to the board first but all the credit should go to those individuals.
ALJJ - Steel producing company. Price has already doubled in the last two months. Room for another double during PSL #9.
AYSI - Familiar stock pick for all VMC'ers. Second mill should come online by about the end of the contest which might produce a spike in share price. Timing is everything.
DPDW - Lots of good DD out there on this one. Running with the herd here.
TGC - Oil and Gas play. With the markets going crazy on O&G companies it is just a matter of time before this one explodes. I'm thinking this one is my big winner in the contest.
EGMI - Growth company in the gaming sector. Seems throughout history that as the economy tanks, gambling expands. And we all know history repeats itself.
CPTC - My wildcard. Also and oldie but goodie. With the addition of the Dewind turbines I feel this company is now poised to take advantage of the green movement and renewable energy craze. The wire core side of business will be icing on top.
